I sent the kids outside with these nice big jars to fill with nature finds of the season.
And we also enjoyed the summer pretties.

And another bright spot of our week--one of my favorite schoolmates came back to the states (all the way from Honduras!) Aren't they a beautiful fam?

They found all sorts of different-shaped and textured leaves, twigs and weeds.

Craft time in the basement: Cami painted a nature scene, Calvin painted a nice gray rectangle, and Jude painted the basement floor.

They're all so cute in their hats--they look like expert nature explorers. It's fun to see all the great summer activities going on in your home, and it looks like they found a great way to "end" the week. ;o)
