a bug, an animal, and a monster
Spring has sprung outside our kitchen window, showing us a few tiny yellow crocus blossoms shooting up through the soil...and a spring break from school is finding me home, excavating myself from beneath a pile of laundry, doing a little organizing, and a little resting due to one last (hopefully the last) sore throat bug...the kids are keeping busy-busy with such imaginary games as "kitty house" ...our couch being stripped of all pillows, piled in the corner behind the ottoman for a head-first, running and sliding approach to this soft fluffy corner of what is apparently a kitty nest. We've also had opportunity for a stimulating reading session with Dad.
We're still making disasters at every meal due to an immense curiosity towards the laws of physics...I'm thinking I need to build an outdoor feeding trough for this little animal:

Love the pic of Andy reading to the kids, Jude appears sleeping and Calvin . . . well I'm not sure what Calvin is but it looks like "himself." ;o) You need to create Cami a scrapbook of all these tidbits, pictures, stories, notes--they are absolutely precious!
I thought that, too. She will LOVE a scrapbook of all of these some day! ....and what a good gift for some grandmothers, too.. ; )
Cute post! Cami's last line of the story is the perfect ending. Jesus is real. The End. :)
Sorry to hear of another round of sickies!
I'm amazed how well Cami does at sounding out those words! Really a cute post and a great ending.:-)
As always, Calvin cracks me up!
