quotes & caricatures of the week:

Calvin: "Mmmm--this tastes EXACTLY good!!" Jude: "Makas!" (which I believe means "belly button" ..he usually exclaims this as he pokes himself in the tummy) And our Shortcake has come up with a few more fun little doodles--this one after a cute little Strawberry_Shortcake party we were invited to recently: These mice are trying to hide themselves unsuccessfully in this electrically-lit kitty house: I'm not sure of her inspiration on this one, but I'm pretty sure this activity is not on my resume, given my current age/shape... AND . . . for our exciting outdoor adventure of the week: a family walk, followed by some backyard playtime: ...it's what you do on a lovely 45 degree January day.

Yep, those ballerinas are my favorite too! Do you have some of the Usborne how-to-draw books (like fairies/mermaids or princesses)? The hair-dos made me think of those books--and if you don't have them I bet Cami would LOVE them. ;o)
