pirates, body building, and counting down

AAARRGH!
This little pirate has been the source of much humor lately...I so adore his boyish ways and his playful little-man growls. He's rough, tough and loves to wrestle. He'll occasionally tackle you unexpectedly, and was even caught gazing wide-eyed studying a football game--no doubt due to his love of body-slamming. My little men are busy with a different kind of body-building; it seems they eat constantly and are often hungry for a big snack and hour after a big breakfast.
If only they would abide by the signs posted (there's a reason this one is plastic-covered).
With the parties past and vacation over, we are recovering from tiredness, lingering cold bugs and some bad attitudes--especially by the professional in the house: We're in full-on counting-down/planning/nesting/adjusting/organizing training mode around here. With 4 months left till our little May Basket is coming, the boys are now sharing a room at night and Cami is in the baby/crib room (I'll hopefully get some bedding sewn and rooms somewhat decorated to make them more boy/girl-specific). I'm trying hard to train the kids better with attitudes, picking up, helping out with chores, and getting themselves ready in the morning. I also have grand plans for some summer fun and music, reading and learning to take place, along with 3 kids' birthday parties, swim lessons and possibly guitar lessons for Cami. But (since I've been known to stress myself out while trying to have fun), I'm trying to remain realistic since I will have a baby sometime and spend half the day feeding her. I'm predicting a busy & fun spring/summer...in the meantime I'll enjoy working through the winter and hopefully keeping my eyes on what really matters...happy January to you all! Hope your year is off to a great start.

You have no idea how Cami's signs crack me up--I love it! Oh the nesting thrill . . . without a doubt my most productive times. ;o)And you have quite a list there! Planning is about 75% of the fun I think (actually making your plans happen, not-so-much). ;o) And so you know you are not alone bad attitude have popped up around here too as we get back to "real life" after lingering awhile in Christmas vacation land.
