late summer hike

I am 6 days late in posting this..but last weekend we went on a little family hiking excursion
to a fun little trail on the edge of town.
We saw interesting little plants, a wooded trail, a nifty extension bridge and a pretty open prairie field. I never get tired of studying pieces of Creation..what beauty we have in front of us to enjoy.
And finally a picture of me with the kids...to prove someday that I was in fact present during their childhood.
Hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend!

There you are, you skinny lil' super cutie! Man, if I looked like you, my picture would be plastered all over my blog. Where is that AWESOME trail in the 2nd picture? I'm looking for such a trail for picture taking! :-)

Happy Weekend! :-)

Yes, where did you go? It kind of looks like Pioneer's Park? This time of year just begs to be explored! Have a great Labor Day weekend!

What a fun family outing! I love that Cami took along her binoculars b/c she obviously enjoys observing God's creation, too! :) Also love that you included a photo of yourself. I hide out behind the lens a lot too so there's lot of pics of daddy and boys but few of mommy and boys. Fine by me....except like you said, it will be nice one day to *prove* that I was, in fact, there! :)

Enjoy your long weekend!
