falling into fall
Hooray! Fall is here, and that means blushing leaves, cooler weather (well, hopefully one of these days!) and that yummy crisp scent in the air. It's truly my favorite season, watching the plants go through their prime of colorful splendor. Since I haven't been inspired with this warm weather to go get some fun Fall photos, I posted a few of my favorites of the kids over the last few years:
Oh, and here is my favorite tree--it's not glowing so bright yet, but I was wanting to give away a few seedlings we have growing in our sandpile. This is the month to transplant..(and yes, they are very, very tiny--you might want to grow them in a bucket for a year or two). I believe it's called "Autumn Blaze"..a beautiful Maple with helicopter leaves. But it's pretty fast growing and oh so beautiful in the Fall..I have at least 5 or 7 if anyone wants some.
Anyway, happy first day of Fall! Now go out and enjoy that gusty wind. :)

Oh wow...fantastic pictures as always! My total favorite is the one of Calvin, believe it or not...facing away looking at the um...what is that? Geez, my husband leases those things; I should know what they're called. ;-)

Those are all wonderful pictures--I adore the one with Jude in the leaves. Was that just last year? And now he is SO BIG!!!
I would take one of your trees, but I'm not sure I would be able to successfully nurture it until I have my own yard again. I will confess to the sin of tree envy though. That tree is gorgeous! ;o) Maybe some year I'll take one of its babies from you.
Thank you VERY much for your sweet comment on my soccer pic. Doron walks by and said it was kinda "eh." He said it didn't really do anything for him, so I kept trying to sell him on the picture and convince him that he DID in fact like it. Your comment came chiming in and I was like "see???????" HA! Now he says he likes it.
These picture are so great. I can't decide which I like better because they are all so good! Your kiddos have gorgeous eyes (I'm sure you hear that all the time!)
