The Jude-ster is trying harder to communicate these days and speaking in baby gibberesh conversation at times..which I swoon over and speak back to him of course...in his little made-up language. Here he is expressing himself nonverbally: ...and blowing a kiss (accompanied by a "whaa") sound effect: I am overjoyed to announce that Calvin is now tracing (even holding his pen correctly at times!) and experimenting with drawing/writing more. He also knows his entire alphabet and we are working on the sounds currently. (Oh, and p.s.--Jude is also capable of drawing on the blank canvas of his thighs...) And here's Cami enjoying a little worksheet in our summer school mini session: We are all enjoying a week at VBS (although the boys and I stayed home today due to a little barky non-coughing hoarseness and slight fever from the littlest man of the house.) Another summer slipping away! Less than a month till school...kindergarten is crouching at the door to take away my girl.
