Last weekend was our first family bike ride. It took quite awhile to get tires aired up, kids helmeted and buckled and bolts tightened..which explains why Jude was screaming here.We also had an impromptu photoshoot since Jude was lookin good...who needs glamour shots? There's something so irresistible about a dirty little boy......and a little girl holding a flower.
My thorn among the lilies
I really love little hands...another amazing piece of God's handiwork.
Poor little buddy. Instead of investigating who shoved his face in the sand (it was in his eyes, nose and mouth afterall!), I broke out the camera to capture my ever-loved slightly-below-average moments of life.
He is going to be one tough cookie with the Calvinator as his big brother...endless bullying, shoving, antagonizing, and hurting...he's learning to hold his ground, and already loves to wrestle. :)
I like the "ever-loved-slightly-below-average" moments remark. Is that ever true? ;o) Poor Jude! That just doesn't look so pleasant. You guys look like you've got a good biking set-up--and a good work-out too!! ;o)
Ah, yes! The first bike ride of the year......very similar to the first "Play out in the snow" event of the year....getting everyone geared up and ready to go is quite the process!
