back from the big city

We SO enjoyed our time together in NYC...what a fun place! We saw all sorts of sites (Times Square, Wall Street, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, etc.), walked all over the place, rode the subway, biked through Central park, ate some amazing food and saw some jaw-droppingly-good Broadway musicals. Oh, and we went to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church on Sunday. Every part of it was tons of fun, although we are glad to be home now breathing clean air instead of cigarette smoke mixed with street vendor food and warm dirty subway air wafting up through the sidewalk grates. My favorite part? I think the broadway shows..and the amazing food.

I'm so happy to have my little baby birds back in the nest...they had a wonderful vacation also out on the farm. They even looked a little different after several days...especially Jude--he was extremely well-fed while we were gone. ;) (Thanks Mom & Dad for taking care of the crew!! I hope you aren't in an exhaustion-induced coma.)
