flying horses, rainbows and sunshine

I am in love with this masterpiece of art that Cami created yesterday. It's my favorite of ALL her art work (and I have a LOT to choose from!). It makes me smile, I think because it epitomizes the sweet nature of a 5-year-old girl with the rainbow and colorful imaginary animals...all in sparkly pastel crayons. *swoon* Here are some more doodles: The ballerina butterfly speaks for itself, but the other one takes some explaining. Inside a castle there are there are two flying horses (left) visiting, and a girl flying horse who is bowing after an opera performance...underneath a cloud of cookie crumbs from a flying horse and very long-tailed flying doggie munching enthusiastically. Kinda reminds me of our household--Mom & Dad trying to talk in a circus-quality environment from an active trio of children.

These are awesome!!! I love the the bowing girl horse--what a great expression on her face!! You should put some of these in frames and give Cami a wall to be her art gallery!

As I've said before, this takes me back about 18 years when Renae would draw all the time. She may have drawn different things, but they sure look similar. And the imagination is great! :-) I remember loving to sit down and have her explain the drawing to me. Their thought processes at that age are amazing! Enjoy this season of life with her...it is precious! :-)
