a momentous occasion

This poor dresser has been dying a slow and painful death. Andy's had this dresser since he was around 3 and has always liked it. He remembers when he was about Cami's age and the dresser was taller than him and of course grew up with it--thus the sentimental value. We nursed its wounds multiple times with wood glue and duct tape to keep it in one piece, lasting us through Cami and her baby room in Phoenix, but this last move it was done for. His mom will be shocked--but he finally let me get rid of it! This is the 70s version of the cheap-o particle board dresser--you the know the type? They barely hold together anyway, but 30 years later it was terminally ill and had an appointment with the garbage man last week. RIP, dear dresser.
