Just for the fun of it yesterday we experimented with potty training and had some early and unexpected success..the pottying needs a little work, but we've been 3 for 3 in the poop department. The 'no pants system' seems to be working for the time being. Calvin just walked over and did his business the very first time! We'll see how this goes, as boys are supposedly harder to train...Cami was so difficult I think it will be easier this time around..we'll keep you posted. Until then, we'll be takin care of business and workin over time..

Hooray for Calvin! Emmett is opposite--I think we've got the peeing down (as long as we're sans pants) but we're not doing so well in the other area. ;o) For some reason that's been harder with 3 of the 4 kids. Hopefully Calvin will be a breeze for you!
Good for Calvin!! I think the poop is hard to get down, so he is starting off good!: )
Oh, grammy is soooo proud of him!!! Hope he does great all week!!! =)
Are you KIDDING?? You are doing the 'no pants' thing?? I couldn't IMAGINE using that technique with Carter!! Oh gosh....I can't even imagine what's gonna happen in the next few years with my little man! It makes me a little sick to my stomach to fathom whats coming! haha!!!
Ha! Amy you crack me up...you'll have to let me know how your ultra-sanitary method of potty training goes. I hope you'll have as many potty and poop stories as I have. ..actually I hope you'll have a lot less, for your own sake. :) But Calvin is catching on so fast! Nothing like potty spraying right in front of your eyes...and for the record, almost all of the accidents were on our wood floors. :)
phew, that's fortunate to have the sprinklin' on the hardwood, Anna! I fondly (well, maybe not fondly) remember the boys running around like nud/ies and they'd all of a sudden look down and notice, "wow, there's water coming out of there...huh." and that was about the extend of it....running off to play again. *sigh* all a "sweet" memory now :)
Just noticed your title for this entry - LOL! I don't think that's what the original songwriters were thinking about, but it does work well in this context, too :)
