Oh, no advice Anna. :oP I think this is just what boys do, if the shampoo that was squeezed out of the carpet today at my home is any indication. ;o) I still don't quite understand the need to "spill and spread."
I got to observe this firsthand last week when Calvinator proceeded to fill his fried chicken plate with his water glass out at the picnic table.
Well, to solve that he just dumped the entire plate into the grass. Too bad Mr. Cecil wasn't still around or he and Calvin could have shared a mighty feast! :)
I'm guessing he'll likely end up as the most cleanly and organized of your bunch, Anna...he's just getting it all out of his system now. ;)
